Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting Boosts Health Care Regulatory Expertise With Tricia Beckmann
Tricia A. Beckmann has joined Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting as a director with the health and biosciences team in Washington, D.C.
Beckmann will draw from her experiences with organizations on the frontlines of health care system reform and innovation to work with clients on state and federal health care regulatory issues. She has cultivated in-depth knowledge of the health care industry — and particularly its relationship with regulatory bodies — through positions with both government agencies and health care stakeholders, including four years with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), where she focused on the health insurance marketplaces and private insurance market reforms that are central to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Most recently, she served as an in-house attorney for a managed services firm that supports hospital and physician organizations in their adoption of value-based care and population health management. In that position, she advised on a wide range of regulatory issues, including managed care state regulation and licensing, ACA implementation and health information privacy.
Beckmann earned a bachelor’s degree in History and French from the University of Wisconsin in 2006 and a law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2010. She is a board member of the institutional review boards for both George Washington University and the University of Maryland.
