In Indiana, Faegre Drinker received a silver ranking and the team was noted for their strength and depth to find tailored solutions to even the most technical and complex trademark issues. The publication also highlights Faegre Drinker’s “TCAM Today” blog, and how it keeps clients looped in on the legal and market developments that could affect their business. WTR specifically called out partners Gumm and Perry, saying “Hands-on, 24/7 support comes from the likes of Louis Perry, a “terrific advocate” who dispenses “practical, common-sense” guidance across the contentious/non-contentious divide. Equally versatile is the proactive Stephanie Gumm, who recently showcased her licensing and transactional prowess on a $2.79 billion acquisition for client Hormel Foods Corporation.”
Minnesota
The WTR 1000 recognizes the firm’s trademark practice in Minnesota with a silver ranking, highlighting the firm’s high-caliber practitioners, including intellectual property practice leader Steffen. The publication says Steffen “adroitly handles a variety of contentious and non-contentious briefs: his hawkish eye proves invaluable on all aspects of prosecution, while his assured approach to litigation consistently steers patrons to victory.”
In addition to the jurisdiction-specific rankings the firm received, Chicago partner Saul received an individual ranking in the WTR 1000’s Illinois section. Saul received a Bronze ranking for his prosecution and strategy work.
