Overview

Lou Perry represents clients in intellectual property litigation. A member of the firm’s trademark, copyright, advertising and media practice, Lou serves as trial counsel for clients in federal and state courts and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Lou has represented clients from a variety of industries in disputes arising under:
  • The Lanham Act
  • The Copyright Act
  • The Digital Millennium Copyright Act
  • The Telephone Consumer Protection Act

Lou handles the following types of matters for his clients:

  • Pre-litigation trademark enforcement and defense
  • Software agreements

  • Film production agreements

Financial Litigation

Lou's IP litigation practice is augmented by his strong background in financial litigation. He represents financial institutions in mortgage disputes across central and southern Indiana and in commercial mortgage foreclosures (in which he has secured over $100 million in judgments for clients).
