Three Faegre Drinker Attorneys Selected as 2022 ‘New Jersey Legal Awards’ Honorees
The New Jersey Law Journal selected Florham Park attorneys Tracey Salmon-Smith and Alexa Miller, and Princeton attorney Brad Marcum as honorees for the publication’s 2022 New Jersey Legal Awards. According to the publication, the awards honor attorneys “who have left an indelible mark on the legal community in New Jersey and beyond through their unwavering dedication to the profession.”
Salmon-Smith was selected as a “Mentors” honoree, a recognition earned for her time and efforts in lifting others. Salmon-Smith, a partner in the Florham Park office, is an integral member of the firm’s litigation and labor and employment team. She is a leader in the firm’s Women Leadership and Diversity and Inclusion committees, both of which she serves on the steering committee. She serves on the board of Women Creating Change and is a member of the Association of Black Women Attorneys, Corporate Counsel Women of Color, Metropolitan Black Bar Association and Women in eDiscovery. As an active mentor in the firm and community, she is a true champion for mentorship, particularly of women, in the legal industry.
Miller was selected as a “New Leader of the Bar” honoree, a recognition earned by attorneys under age 40 who bring both notable achievements and outstanding potential to the table. Miller quickly established herself at the firm and in the legal community as a well-rounded and trusted advisor representing employers in a variety of disputes. She currently leads the firm’s cannabis employment law team, provides strategic advice on pandemic-related crisis management issues and dedicates significant time to the legal profession and local community.
Marcum was also named a “New Leader of the Bar” honoree. Marcum became an integral member of the firm’s real estate team early on in his career. He’s handled sophisticated real estate transactions throughout the U.S. from the start of the process to the end. Additionally, he continues to assist one national multi-family developer with complex new construction projects in various jurisdictions. Marcum is also dedicated to his community and provided over 50 hours of pro bono service in 2021.
The honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony on September 29 at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, N.J.
