Labor Law in the (Post?) Pandemic World
Labor & Employment Series: Staying on Top of Your Game
Webinar
Overview
Unionization has become a hot topic for unionized and non-unionized employers alike. In this webinar, associates Alex Preller, Sarah Blackadar, and Daniel Dorson will discuss trends in labor law that have developed over the past two years. This includes the recent uptick in representation petitions and hard bargaining – the tendency for bargaining representatives to take a more aggressive approach to bargaining. Next, as restrictions loosen nationwide, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and unions have started to seek a return to in-person proceedings and bargaining, which can create new issues for employers. Finally, this webinar will discuss several recent changes to national labor law effectuated by the NLRB over the past few years through a combination of NLRB decisions and rulemaking.
