Industry Implementation and Adoption of the 2021 Definitions

At the International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s (ISDA) “2021 ISDA Interest Rate Definitions” conference, investment management partner Ilene Froom joined a panel discussing how markets and strategies have shifted since moving from the 2006 to the 2021 ISDA Interest Rate Derivatives Definitions. The panelists shared insights on industry changes since adopting the 2021 definitions, including those implemented in FpML and middleware platforms, progress in the industry over the last three years and steps market participants should be taking if they have not adopted the definitions.
