Brad Campbell Comments on ACLI Poll With InvestmentNews

In “Survey Shows Inflation Increases Retirement Savings Worries,” InvestmentNews turned to benefits and executive compensation partner Brad Campbell for his commentary on a poll by the American Council of Life Insurers regarding a United States Department of Labor fiduciary rule and access to retirement advice.

Campbell noted that the poll results resonate with him, as he has had personal experience with small-balance individual retirement accounts on which a financial firm ceased to give recommendations under the Obama administration rule.

“It did, in fact, cause people to lose access to advice,” said Campbell. “We need different types of financial professionals using different [business] models to serve the needs of [the] entire population.”
