Gina Kastel Featured in Law.com’s ‘How I Made it to Law Firm Leadership’ Series

In a feature Law.com profile titled “How I Made It To Law Firm Leadership: ‘Deep, Strong Relationships Make Everything Easier and More Enjoyable,’” Faegre Drinker Chair Gina Kastel detailed her career path to law firm leadership and highlighted firm goals and initiatives.

“I want to help Faegre Drinker and our people achieve their full potential,” Kastel said, “From the day I joined the firm, our partners created opportunities for me to build a practice and step into interesting leadership roles. My motivation is to carry that forward and ensure that everyone who joins Faegre Drinker has those same great experiences and opportunities.” She also noted, “We strive to bring the whole firm to our clients to solve their legal and business problems effectively and efficiently. We have multiple initiatives to support cross-service, including a firmwide proactive outreach program.”

When asked to share attorney advice, Kastel stated, “Invest in developing relationships as much as you invest in developing skills and experience.” She added, “To succeed, firm leaders need to put the firm and its clients and people first…[They] need humility, curiosity and a willingness to learn.”
