IndyBar’s Bill Watch Report – Informing Members on Vital Legislative Developments

During this year’s legislative session, Hoosier lawmakers introduced 1,250 measures that IndyBar’s Public Advocacy Committee reviewed for the reporting tool, tagging relevant bills to specific practice groups. Through the tool, attorneys can stay updated on bills affecting land use, family law, criminal justice, and taxation that can all impact their legal practice. The tool monitors legislation in real-time, giving attorneys the ability to track bills, amendments, and more. This collaborative resource, Berkshire noted, ensures attorneys are better positioned to engage with lawmakers to express concerns and advocate for more sound public policy.
