J. Louise Bonner

Overview

Louise Bonner supports clients as they seek strategic solutions to securities and investment management matters. She counsels investment companies and investment advisers on issues relating to federal securities laws and regulations.

Previously, Louise represented insurance and financial services industry clients, including insurers, annuity companies, and brokerage agencies, in litigation disputes and regulatory challenges, which gives her unique insight into how to approach difficult legal and regulatory challenges in the investment management space.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Louise served as a judicial intern for Judge Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She was also a congressional intern for Pennsylvania Representative Jim Gerlach.

An accomplished athlete, Louise was a member and two-year captain of the Georgetown University Varsity Field Hockey team.  

Personal Interests

Louise resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband and young children, where she devotes all of her time outside of work.
