F. Brooke Dunn

Overview

Brooke Dunn brings clients years of hands-on experience as a legal and financial professional to offer bespoke guidance to nonprofit organizations. She carries significant experience in the health care space and offers nonprofit health care clients an insider’s perspective to their matters.

Brooke works with nonprofit organizations on issues related to governance, financing, tax-exempt status, public reporting, entity formation, and fundraising and charitable giving.

Prior Experience

Most recently, Brooke served as the chief financial officer and treasurer of a hospital system in Indianapolis, Indiana where she oversaw a $2.1 billion budget for the system, which included a hospital, the public health department, emergency medical services, and approximately eighty nursing homes. In that role, she was responsible for establishing and monitoring the annual budget and supporting and advising the board of trustees on various matters, that included preparing materials for the board’s audit and finance committee. 

Brooke is a returning attorney to Faegre Drinker. She previously served as an associate attorney covering public finance and housing matters. She assisted clients with bond financings, regulatory and legislative issues. 

Prior to law school, Brooke worked in banking & finance in a variety of roles before joining the Glick Company as the Revenue Manager where she implemented a new pricing program for all apartment units across the organization.
