Overview
Kristen Perry counsels clients in complex litigation and dispute resolution. Proficient in managing commercial and product liability litigation, she has extensive experience encompassing all aspects of trial law, from case preparation and discovery to courtroom advocacy, settlements and alternative dispute resolution. Kristen has also represented companies in high-stakes mass tort litigation, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical and product liability litigation. In addition, she has counseled clients in bad-faith litigation and insurance defense. Kristen’s experience also includes representing health care industry clients in litigation matters.
In bankruptcy and restructuring, Kristen represents debtors, hedge funds and bank lenders across a variety of industries including insurance and agribusiness. She advises on preparing Chapter 11 matters for filing and she negotiates transactions including distressed asset sales and purchases, debtor-in-possession financing, and exit financing.
A native Texan, Kristen grew up in a farming community; and this background has influenced her approach to law, including providing her with a deep understanding of the agricultural sector. She assists food and agribusiness clients in navigating complex commercial litigation and restructuring matters.
