Cowen Sustainable Advisors (CSI), a subsidiary of Cowen Investment Management LLC (a division of Cowen Inc.), closed a $200 million investment deal on behalf of its clients with smartphone recycling company ecoATM. Faegre Drinker represented CSI in connection with the deal. As part of the investment, CSI was given a significant minority stake in ecoATM. In addition, two CSI co-heads were appointed to the company’s board of directors to provide strategic guidance on the company’s growth.
