Taylor L. Lindauer (Haran)

Associate

Overview

Taylor Lindauer (Haran) collaborates with the employment litigation team to defend employers in single-plaintiff, multiplaintiff, and class and collective claims brought by their current and former personnel. She spent significant time during law school gaining firsthand experience in the employment law space through positions in both private practice and municipal government. As a member of the firm's pay equity team, Taylor routinely works with clients on conducting pay equity audits.

Employment Law Experience

For eight months during law school, Taylor volunteered as a law clerk with the City of Chicago’s Department of Law, Labor Division. There she wrote memoranda on issues such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII, the Illinois Human Rights Act, and social media and discipline. Taylor conducted witness interviews, helped prepare for hearings before the Chicago Human Resources Board, examined a witness in an arbitration hearing, and researched and drafted employment policies for the city. She also drafted position statements for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Illinois Department of Human Resources and Commission on Human Relations.

During her clerkship with Faegre Baker Daniels, Taylor worked on issues related to non-compete agreements, arbitration clauses and litigation strategy. She interned with various other firms during college, where she gained experience writing deposition summaries, conducting document review in employment discrimination cases, and researching FMLA compliance.

Personal Interests

Taylor is a fan of Chicago pizza and Harry Potter — and a proud Hufflepuff.
