Drinker Biddle Welcomes New Associates

Florham Park, NJ — (January 4, 2002) The law firm Drinker Biddle is pleased to announce that the following Associates have joined the Florham Park office:

In the Litigation Department:

Ailyn Abin is a 2001 graduate of Northeastern Law School, and holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Rutgers University. While in law school, Ailyn interned for the Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway in Newark, New Jersey and at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York. She was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park. Ailyn is a member of the litigation department and is currently working on products liability cases. Ailyn is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She lives in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

C. Moze Cowper is a 2000 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and products liability. Moze graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in History. He attended Rutgers University School of Law- Camden where he was an Articles Editor on the Rutgers Law Journal and a member of the Philip Jessup International Advanced Moot Court Team. After law school, Moze clerked for the Honorable Marina Corodemus, New Jersey Superior Court, Mass Tort Section. Moze is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He lives in Montclair, New Jersey.

Peter J. Gallagher is a 2001 graduate of Georgetown University Law School, and holds a B.A. in Professional Writing/Journalism from the College of New Jersey. He is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United State District Court for the District of New Jersey. Peter lives in Staten Island, New York.

Megan J. Harris is a 2001 graduate of Cornell Law School, where she was Bench Editor for the Cornell Moot Court Board. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and English/Creative Writing from Emory University. Megan was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park and now practices primarily in commercial litigation and intellectual property. She was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in December 2001. She also sat successfully for the New York Bar and expects to be admitted in New York early this year. Megan lives in Morristown, New Jersey.

Joseph C. Holden is a 2001 graduate of Boston College Law School. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and insurance coverage. Joe graduated from the University of Scranton in 1995 with a B.S. in Secondary Education. Prior to attending law school, Joe taught high school English and Social Studies in Micronesia as part of the Jesuit Volunteers: International. During law school, Joe was a member of the 200-2001 John J. Gibbons National Criminal Procedure Moot Court team and was recognized at graduation for his outstanding contributions to BC’s Clinical Defense and Homelessness Litigation Programs. He is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the Pennsylvania State Bar. Joe’s wife, Megan, is a social worker in New Jersey. He lives in Morristown, New Jersey.

Heather M. Hughes is a 2001 graduate of Dickinson Law School of the Pennsylvania State University. She focuses her practice on intellectual property issues.

Heather received her B.A. in 1994 from the University of Virginia, majoring in History. She received her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where she was a member of the Dickinson Law Review. Heather is admitted to the state court in New Jersey and to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park. Heather lives in Morristown, New Jersey.

Jennifer A. Klear is a 2000 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable Richard Newman of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Jennifer received her B.A. in Political Science from Emory University and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden where she served as the Lead State Constitutional Law Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. While attending law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and worked part-time for the Employment Litigation and Counseling Division for the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Law. Her article, “State Constitutional Law and Education: Abbott v. Burke, 153 NJ 480, 710 A.2d 450 (1998) (Abbott V)” appeared in the Rutgers Law Journal, Volume 30. She recently contributed to a New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education publication on Evidence.

Jennifer is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. She lives in Montclair, New Jersey.

James K. Webber, Jr. is a 2000 graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. He holds a B.A. in International Studies from the Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated in 1994 Phi Beta Kappa and with university and departmental honors. Between his graduation from Johns Hopkins and law school, he worked for United States Representative William J. Martini. After law school, Webber clerked for Justice Peter G. Verniero of the New Jersey Supreme Court during the 2000-2001 term. His practice areas include labor and employment law and general litigation. Webber is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He lives in Chatham with his wife Johanna. The couple is expecting their first child in May.

In the Real Estate Department:

Andy S. Norin is a 2001 graduate of Georgetown University Law School, and holds a B.A. in political science magna cum laude from The George Washington University. While attending law school, he was president of the Federalist Society and a Founder and Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. Andy was awarded a Dean’s Certificate for outstanding contribution to the Law Center community. He served as a summer associate with the firm during the summer of 2000. Andy lives in Pomona, New York.

In the Business and Finance Department:

James M. Fischer is a 2001 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, and holds a B.A. in world politics, summa cum laude from The Catholic University of America. While attending law school, he was the Student Notes Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal, in which he was also published in 2001. James previously spent a summer working at Shanley & Fisher as a paralegal clerk, and he was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park. He is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and is awaiting admission to the New York State Bar. James lives in Hawthorne, New Jersey.

Farah N. Homsi is a 2001 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law – Newark, and holds a B.A. in political science, summa cum laude from Rutgers, Newark. While in law school, she was an Editor of the Rutgers Law Review and a Board Member of the Moot Court Board. She also was a Legal Research & Writing Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant for a Professor. Farah is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and is currently waiting for admission to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the New York State Bar. Farah is continuing her studies at New York University School of Law, in pursuit of her L.L.M. in Taxation. She was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park. Farah lives in Union, New Jersey.

Michael Reynolds is a 2001 graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and holds a B.A. in political science from Fordham University. His practice focuses on bankruptcy law and workouts. While at St. John’s, he served as editor in chief of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary in which he was also published in 2001. He also was awarded “Best Advocate” in the 1999 Frank Rogers Mock Trial Competition. While attending law school, Michael worked as an account executive and area business manager in the health care industry. Next year, Michael will be clerking for the Honorable Novalyn L. Winfield, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. He was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park. Michael lives in Vernon, New Jersey.

Jennifer Twill is a 2001 graduate of New York Law School, and holds a B.S. in environmental studies from the University of Vermont. While in law school, Jennifer attended Pepperdine University School of Law in London where she focused on Internal Law and worked with the firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt LLP in their Structured Finance Department. Jennifer is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the State of New Jersey. Jennifer’s experience in the banking practice includes syndicated commercial loan transactions and other credit accommodations, including secured and unsecured loans, revolving credit facilities, tax exempt bond financing, letter of credit financing, real estate construction and acquisition financing. She was a member of the firm’s 2000 Summer Program in Florham Park. Jennifer lives in Manhattan, New York
