Living and Working in San Francisco
San Francisco is a world-class destination known as much for its people as its landmarks. We enjoy the hustle of the city both for work and play, as well as the diversity of cultures and perspectives. As an international hub for business, there is no shortage of legal challenges and intriguing opportunities with which we can assist our clients.
Outside of the office, our enviable year-round weather gets us outside flying kites in Chrissy Field, sailing on the Bay, walking our dogs or just soaking in the sun. For sports fans, Giants stadium is right down the Embarcadero, as is the Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors. And while our football team has a new home, they remain the San Francisco 49ers. Those looking to take in a concert or entertainment have no end of options. And don’t get us started on the food!
Community Involvement
The San Francisco office is dedicated to participating in and contributing to efforts that benefit those in need. Attorneys and staff regularly volunteer to serve meals to the poor and organize food drives in the community. For over a decade we have participated in the Glide Memorial Annual Holiday food giveaway program. Glide Memorial United Methodist Church, located in downtown San Francisco, is dedicated to alleviating suffering and breaking cycles of poverty in the community. Glide serves thousands of meals and distributes several thousand grocery bags of food each day during the holiday season. Attorneys and staff colleague volunteers arrive in semi-darkness to begin the early morning shift, serving breakfast or working in the Glide kitchen preparing holiday meals for the homeless and disadvantaged. This work is echoed throughout the year by efforts including providing basic provisions like clothing and hygiene items to the Bay Area Rescue Mission.
