J. Murray Clark Joins Baker & Daniels LLP as Partner

A prominent Republican, Clark ran in 2000 as a candidate for lieutenant governor and later became chairman of now-Gov. Mitch Daniels' election campaign. Elected in 1994 as a state senator representing portions of Hamilton and Marion counties, Clark has repeatedly been recognized as an outstanding legislator, in part for his ongoing support of small businesses in Indiana.
Clark graduated in 1979 from Kenyon College and earned his law degree from Indiana University at Indianapolis in 1982. After graduation he joined the Indianapolis law firm of Clark, Quinn, Moses, Scott & Grahn LLP, where he has practiced for the past 23 years.
During his 23-year legal career, Clark has represented clients in business transactions, administrative and regulatory matters and real estate projects. His real estate practice has focused on real estate development, planning, zoning and land-use matters as well as negotiations in real estate financing. He is a former chairman of the Land Use Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and has lectured frequently in the areas of real estate law, planning and zoning.
