Abigail Butler Receives Graduate of the Last Decade Award

Abigail M. Butler, a Baker & Daniels LLP associate, was recently awarded the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award from her alma mater, Hillsdale College. Butler received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Hillsdale in 1997. She then earned her law degree magna cum laude from Michigan State University's Detroit College of Law.

The GOLD award was conferred upon Butler for "demonstration of significant professional achievement since graduation in the practice of law." Generally, GOLD recipients are recognized for conspicuous achievement within 10 years of graduation.

Butler practices in the intellectual property and product liability groups from Baker & Daniels' Fort Wayne office. She has litigated matters involving a wide variety of medical device and consumer products. Butler also has appeared on the cover of Working Mother magazine and emphasizes the importance of balancing her career by making her family a priority.
