Firm Practices, Lawyers Recognized for Skill, Value in Chambers USA 2012

Sixty lawyers from many of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP’s 16 practice groups have been recognized as leaders in their fields by Chambers and Partners, an international publisher of guides to the world’s top lawyers.

The 2012 edition of Chambers USA gave the highest possible recognition to the firm’s Native American, environmental, litigation and real estate practices.  Lawyers in the firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring, insurance litigation, general commercial litigation, white collar crime and government investigations, environmental, banking and finance, Native American, real estate transaction, real estate zoning and land use, and health care law practices received the highest possible rankings.  In all, the firm had 66 lawyer and 27 practice area rankings.

Clients interviewed for the rankings described Drinker Biddle as “an extension of our business” that is “very professional, collegial and easy to work with.”  The firm’s lawyers were touted as “creative at finding ways to solve problems” and “well-rounded at both the senior and junior levels.”

“It is always nice to hear from clients on that which we are doing well,”  said Alfred W. Putnam, Jr., Drinker Biddle’s chairman.  “Our goal is to provide a level of service and value to our clients that distinguishes us from other firms.  Receiving feedback to that end is tremendously valuable and satisfying.”
