14 Lawyers Join Faegre Baker Daniels Partnership

Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has announced the admission of 14 new partners, effective Jan. 1, 2013. The partnership voted to admit the firm's following former associates or special counsel to partner, listed by office:

Following are brief biographies on the new Faegre Baker Daniels partners:

Michael B. Abbott joined the firm in 2011. He is a graduate of Iowa State University (B.S., with distinction, 2000), the University of Iowa (MBA, 2005) and the University of Iowa College of Law (J.D., Order of the Coif, with high distinction, 2005). Abbott's practice focuses on corporate and finance law.

Jared B. Briant joined the firm in 2006. He is a graduate of Duke University (B.A., 1999) and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (J.D., Order of St. Ives, 2004). He practices complex intellectual property litigation and counseling.

Christopher J. Burrell joined the firm in 2007. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (B.A., summa cum laude, 2001 and 2002) and Yale Law School (J.D., 2005). Burrell focuses on patent litigation, patent counseling and general intellectual property matters.

Andrew L. Campbell joined the firm in 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Montana (B.A., 2001; M.A., 2002) and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2005). Campbell concentrates on product liability and commercial litigation.

Caryn M. Glawe joined the firm in 2004. She is a graduate of Butler University (B.A., cum laude, 2001) and Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., 2004). Glawe practices insurance transactional and regulatory law.

Miko E. Hernandez joined the firm in 2005. She is a graduate of Saint Louis University (B.A., summa cum laude, 2001) and the University of Illinois College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2005). Hernandez practices Indian tribal finance law and general finance and restructuring law.

Karin A. Johnson joined the firm in 2008. She is a graduate of Luther College (B.A., magna cum laude, 2001) and Drake University Law School (J.D., with high honors, 2004). Johnson focuses on employment litigation and counseling.

Lance W. Lange joined the firm in 2012. He is a graduate of Stanford University (A.B., with honors, 1996), the University of Iowa (M.A., 1998) and Columbia Law School (J.D., 2001). Lange practices commercial litigation with a focus on antitrust and finance matters.

Daniel M. Lechleiter joined the firm in 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton (B.S., 2001) and The John Marshall Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2005). Lechleiter concentrates on patent litigation and counseling.

Nicole J. Leimer joined the firm in 2005. She is a graduate of the College of St. Benedict (B.A., summa cum laude, 1998) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., cum laude, 2005). Leimer practices corporate transactional and finance law.

Ryan R. Miske joined the firm in 2006. He is a graduate of Carleton College (B.A., magna cum laude, with distinction, 1999), the University of Minnesota (MBA, 2005) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., Order of the Coif, magna cum laude, 2005). He focuses on financing, M&A and corporate governance matters.

Joseph C. Pettygrove joined the firm in 2005. He is a graduate of Ball State University (B.S., summa cum laude, 2002) and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2005). Pettygrove practices employment litigation and counseling.

Steven Young Reeves joined the firm in 2007. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration (B.S., with distinction, 1997) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2004). He focuses on strategic domestic and international M&A transactions.

Lica Tomizuka joined the firm in 2003. She is a graduate of Cornell University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1997) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2003). Tomizuka concentrates on real estate transactions, development, leasing, financing and investment.
