Dottie Bolinsky Installed as Mercer County Bar Association President
Dottie Bolinsky, a real estate partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, was installed last night as President of the Mercer County Bar Association (MCBA). Dottie stepped in as the first president in the Association’s history with a purely transactional practice.
The MCBA installation dinner and general membership meeting took place at the Greenacres Country Club in Lawrenceville, where members and friends of the Association dined and witnessed Dottie and nine others take their oath of service as MCBA’s new Executive Board and 2016 Board of Trustees. Also sworn in were Michelle Gasparian as President-Elect; Colleen M. Crocker as Vice President; Robert E. Lytle as Treasurer; and Angelo J. Onofri as Secretary. 2016 Trustees are Robert F. Casey, Michael Kahme, Tanya L. Phillips, Sandberg Durst and Thomas Onder.
In her inaugural address as President of the Mercer County Bar Association, Dottie spoke of her involvement with the Association since the beginning of her legal career and of the enriching relationships she continues to develop because of her involvement. Her speech highlighted the continued development of an inclusive professional community through the encouragement of new ideas and participation.
Dottie has been active with MCBA for many years and, in 2004, was selected as the association’s Young Lawyer of the Year. She has previously served as chair of MCBA’s Real Estate Section and currently serves on the association's budget committee. She is also a trustee of the Mercer County Bar Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation formed by MCBA to provide funding for public legal education and awards annual law school scholarships. When she is not leading the Association, Dottie counsels clients in a wide range of real estate transactions including commercial leasing, acquisition, disposition, financing, operations, development, construction zoning and land use planning.
Dottie earned her J.D., with honors, from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, and her B.S., magna cum laude, from Pennsylvania State University. She is resident in Drinker Biddle’s Princeton office.
