Mike Holston Elected New Member of The American Law Institute

Mike Holston, Executive Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Merck has been elected as a member of the American Law Institute. The Institute elects individuals who reflect the excellence and diversity of today's legal profession. We congratulate Mike on receiving this distinct professional honor.
Mike joined Drinker Biddle in 1987 and remained with the firm through 2005. As a partner in our Commercial Litigation practice group, Mike had a national litigation practice. He has been with Merck since 2012 and previously served as general counsel for Hewlett-Packard, was a prosecutor in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia and also a partner in the law firm of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius. It was announced in June of this year that MIke will become the next General Counsel of Merck, effective July 1, 2015.
