Stewart M. Wiener Awarded Distinguished Service Medal

Stewart M. Wiener, Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at ARRIS Group and President of the Benjamin Franklin Inn of Court, was recently awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the Linn Alliance of the American Inns of Court, a national organization for intellectual property lawyers.

Federal Circuit Judge Richard Linn presented the award to Stewart on March 28, 2014 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York before the New York IP Law Association's 92nd Annual Dinner in Honor of the Federal Judiciary. Stewart was recognized for his "singular achievements" and "outstanding service over the past several years in helping to bring the American Inn of Court experience to the intellectual property community."

Stewart joined the firm in 2004 and was an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group. Prior to becoming Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at ARRIS Group in 2013, Stewart was Senior Patent Counsel at Motorola Mobility.
