Angela Fogt Brings Experience in Nonprofit Law to Faegre Baker Daniels

Angela T. Fogt has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate in the law firm's nonprofit organizations group.

Fogt advises nonprofit organizations on governance, nonprofit corporation and charitable trust laws; private foundation rules, applying for and maintaining tax exempt status; and general nonprofit business matters. She also helps nonprofit organizations expand their charitable gift planning programs.

In addition to counseling charities, Fogt works with individuals and families to accomplish their philanthropic goals through outright and testamentary charitable gifts, charitable trusts and private foundations. For the last two years, she has been named a North Star Lawyer by the Minnesota State Bar Association for pro bono legal services.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Fogt was an associate at Gray, Plant, Mooty, Mooty & Bennett P.A. in Minneapolis. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law and Iowa State University.
