Jonathan Epstein, Nicole Bayman and Karen Denys Mentioned in Law360 article
Princeton, New Jersey RPIC Jonathan Epstein, associate Nicole Bayman and counsel Karen Denys were mentioned in a Law360 article, titled, “Feds Won’t Join Princeton Rail Station Relocation Case.” The article discussed the battle surrounding a community group determined to save a historic rail station, known as “Dinky”, from Princeton University rerouting a local commuter train route. The U.S. Surface Transportation Board ruled the matter outside its purview. The nonprofit Save The Dinky, Inc. is still examining legal strategies in its quest.
Earlier this month, the Supreme Court of New Jersey declined to hear Save the Dinky’s appeal of an Appellate Division decision affirming a May 2012 decision allowing New Jersey Transit to abandon an easement purchased to preserve the rail station as a historical place. Drinker Biddle represented Princeton University on the opposition to the petition.
