Faegre Baker Daniels Announces Leadership Transitions

Faegre Baker Daniels has announced leadership transitions within the firm’s Executive Committee, food and agriculture industry team, environmental practice, Shanghai office and China practice.

FaegreBD partners Gina Kastel, Scott Kosnoff and Jack Sperber have succeeded Kathy Noecker and Drew Soshnick on the firm’s Executive Committee, joining managing partner Andrew Humphrey and chief operating partner Tom Froehle. The Executive Committee is responsible for day-to-day management of the firm.

Gretchen Miller Bush and John Mandler have been chosen to co-lead FaegreBD’s nationally recognized food and agriculture industry team of more than 150 lawyers representing over a dozen service areas throughout the firm, succeeding long-time industry leader Kim Walker. The food and agriculture industry team addresses the full range of clients’ business, legal and regulatory needs across the U.S.

Del Ehrich has assumed leadership of FaegreBD’s environmental practice from Linda Rockwood, a member of the American College of Environmental Lawyers who successfully led the practice for many years. The firm’s environmental practice is comprised of four fully integrated focus areas: regulatory, litigation, transactional and federal affairs, and clients are located throughout the world in a broad scope of industries—including agricultural, banking, commercial retail, industrial manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, electric/natural gas utilities, pharmaceuticals, petroleum, petroleum refiners, renewable energy and waste management. The practice is also supported by FaegreBD's national energy and natural resources industry focus.

Wendy Yan has been chosen to lead the firm’s Shanghai office and co-lead FaegreBD’s China practice. The firm has maintained an office in Shanghai since 2001. FaegreBD’s China practice team has extensive experience advising U.S. and global clients on operating within legal and business environments in China as well as on investment, trade and commercial matters throughout the Greater China region.
