Bob Stoll Selected for IP Law360’s “Voices of the Bar” Series
Washington, D.C. partner Bob Stoll was chosen to participate as a panelist in IP Law360’s new article series, “Voices of the Bar.” The series will feature concise and timely commentary from chosen leading experts in intellectual property law. The experts will address current issues in intellectual property law, ranging from patents to soft IP to trade secrets.
Panelists were chosen for their expertise and thought leadership. Bob was one of 50 chosen from a pool of nearly 300 experts in intellectual property.
In the first installment of the series, the experts commented on the impact of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank one year on. Bob said “the patent community is still unclear about its impact” and that “the uncertainty of the effects of this decision to software startup companies is making it difficult for them to get investor funding and will affect our economic growth in innovative technologies where we lead the world.”
