Two FaegreBD Attorneys Named Among Nation's Top 250 Women Litigators

Faegre Baker Daniels partners Andrea Roberts Pierson and Wendy J. Wildung were listed among the top women litigators in the United States by Benchmark Litigation’s 2015 edition of Top 250 Women in Litigation. Both women were honored as one of only two attorneys in their respective states.

Top 250 Women in Litigation honors America’s leading women trial lawyers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Honorees were selected based on research conducted for the 2015 edition of parent publication Benchmark Litigation. Peer review and depth of attorneys’ litigation careers were key to selection.

Pierson is a partner in the firm’s product liability litigation practice in Indianapolis and a member of the firm’s management board. The publication noted that she brings more than 20 years of experience to Faegre Baker Daniels, saying “companies in the pharmaceutical, automotive, and medical device sectors turn to her for her broad knowledge of the law.” It also notes that her work in product liability and general commercial matters has taken her to the trial and appellate levels as well as Canada. For the past three years, she has served as lead counsel to a medical device manufacturer in a multi-district litigation including more than one thousand cases. Pierson’s clients count on her defense in significant product liability cases. 

Wildung is a business litigation partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office. She has handled hundreds of business disputes at the trial and appellate levels, and tried dozens of cases to verdict. Her recent work includes defending many types of class actions, and representing corporations and their officers and directors in securities, derivative, and merger litigation and investigations. The publication said she is known to other lawyers as a “terrific person and lawyer.”
