Faegre Baker Daniels Announces Office and Practice Leadership Transitions

Faegre Baker Daniels announces several firm leadership transitions in the London office, real estate practice and international team.

Effective July 1, Alex Denny, partner in the firm’s labor and employment group and head of labor and employment in London, becomes London office leader.

Gary Laitner, corporate partner in the firm’s London office, joins Indianapolis corporate partner Angella Castille in co-leading the firm’s international practice. The international practice utilizes firm offices in the U.S., London, Beijing and Shanghai, and an extensive local counsel network to help clients with legal issues in more than 100 countries. Laitner’s co-leadership role takes effect July 1.

“Our London office continues to grow in areas including M&A, privacy & compliance, real estate, employment and litigation,” said managing partner Andrew Humphrey. “Under Alex’s office leadership, and with Gary Laitner co-leading the international practice from London, the firm’s international presence has fortified its position of strength for our clients’ growing global needs.”

Additionally, FaegreBD was pleased to announce in June that partner Colin Harris and FaegreBD Consulting principal Andrew Wheeler are co-leading the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources industry team. The team is comprised of lawyers focusing on energy, natural resources and clean technology.

Also in 2016, Scott Anderegg, real estate partner in Minneapolis, became head of the firm’s real estate practice. Anderegg has been with the firm for more than 25 years. Under his leadership, the real estate team continues to represent clients ranging from large corporations to developers, investors, contractors, landlords and tenants with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including acquisition, development, financing and management.
