Tyler Young and Christine Kain Named Up & Coming Attorneys by Minnesota Lawyer

Faegre Baker Daniels partner Christine Kain and associate Tyler Young have been named 2016 Up & Coming Attorneys by Minnesota Lawyer.

The Up & Coming Attorney recognition is given to distinguished lawyers within their first 10 years of practice. Criteria for selection include professional accomplishment, leadership, service to the community and service to the profession.

Kain, a partner in the firm’s drug and device litigation group, was chosen for her involvement with multidistrict and large-scale product liability litigation. She has also served as national and local counsel in matters surrounding a number of drugs, medical devices and food regulations. Kain also stands out through her Pro Bono work with the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center Legal Clinic, YouthLink Legal Clinic and Children’s Law Center. 

Young, an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Advocacy group, was chosen for his involvement on an extensive list of matters for technology companies and companies within in highly regulated industries. He concentrates on serving technology companies, banks, and financial services and insurance firms. Additionally, Young is a member of Faegre Baker Daniels’ business litigation training committee as an advisor and advocate for the firm’s junior lawyers. He further distinguished himself through his pro bono work with asylum seekers.

Up & Coming attorneys will be honored at a ceremony September 8, and will be profiled in a special feature at that time. Minnesota Lawyer will also honor Unsung Legal Heroes at the ceremony, comprised of support staff, marketers, educators and others in supporting roles. FaegreBD’s Unsung Heroes this year include Keith Badenoch, data architect, Christine Page, community service manager, and Rob Van Beusekom, manager of financial analysis and planning.
