Drinker Biddle Files Amicus Brief in New Jersey Supreme Court on Behalf of the Retail Litigation Center

Drinker Biddle & Reath’s Class Actions Team continues to vigorously represent the retail industry in important regulatory and judicial proceedings across the country.

On June 19, 2017, Michael Daly, Kathryn Deal, Matthew Fedor, Andrew Joseph, Jenna Poligo and Meredith Slawe filed an amicus curiae brief on behalf of the Retail Litigation Center (RLC) in a New Jersey Supreme Court proceeding addressing the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (TCCWNA).

This statute has been the source of an explosion of class action litigation and pre-suit demands targeting retailers. The RLC is a public policy organization that provides courts and regulators with retail industry perspective and advocacy in significant matters. It is associated with the powerhouse Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA).
