Logging Your First Information Governance Success
News
Washington, D.C. associate Amy Marcos authored an article in Drinker Biddle’s blog DBR On Data titled, “Logging Your First Information Governance Success,” explaining the possibilities for companies to start information governance (IG) projects.
Amy outlines methods for getting started on IG, such as working to maximize the value and reduce the risk of information that is redundant, outdated, and/or trivial, otherwise known as “ROT.” After companies embrace initial IG projects, Amy makes clear that those beginning projects can lead to a revamp of a company’s information management practices, including collaboration among key stakeholders.
