Mike Gustafson Joins Faegre Baker Daniels in Chicago

Mike Gustafson has joined the finance and restructuring team at Faegre Baker Daniels in the firm’s Chicago office.

Gustafson represents clients in a full range of financial matters, including complex financial transactions, corporate debt restructuring, distressed asset purchases and related litigation matters. Gustafson focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy and distressed asset matters, regularly assisting clients with chapter 11 proceedings.

Before joining FaegreBD, Gustafson was an associate in the corporate reorganization and bankruptcy group of Sidley Austin LLP's Chicago office, where he cultivated high-level transactional and litigation skills in restructuring and bankruptcy.

Gustafson graduated with honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he served as the notes and comments editor of The Chicago-Kent Law Review. He earned a bachelor’s degree in American government from Georgetown University.
