Lora A. Brzezynski Joins Drinker Biddle’s Intellectual Property Group

Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has expanded its Intellectual Property Group with the addition of Lora A. Brzezynski as a partner. She will reside in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

An experienced IP litigator and trial lawyer, Ms. Brzezynski manages complex patent, trade secret and trademark litigation for domestic and international clients. She represents clients in a variety of  commercial and government contracts litigation matters, including business torts, civil conspiracy, complex breach of contract actions and unfair competition.

Most recently, she was chair of Dentons’ Trade Secrets Group and was previously a partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge, where she headed the Commercial Litigation Division. She also has been recognized by The Legal 500, Chambers and IAM Patent 1000.

In the area of business torts, Ms. Brzezynski has extensive experience handling cases involving allegations of civil conspiracy, fraud, tortious interference, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Ms. Brzezynski has obtained millions of dollars in judgments and favorable settlements on behalf of clients in conspiracy, fraud and RICO cases. She also handles internal investigations relating to fraud and employee misconduct in the United States and abroad.

Ms. Brzezynski earned her juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.
