Erica Black Brings In-House Experience to Real Estate Team

Faegre Baker Daniels is pleased to announce that Erica Black has joined the firm's real estate team as counsel. Black will practice from the firm's Indianapolis office.

Drawing on her experience as an in-house real estate attorney for Simon Property Group and Finish Line, Blackknows how to grow and manage real estate portfolios on a national scale. She brings sharp business instincts and risk management skills to every client partnership.

Black has represented clients of many sizes in a variety of real estate acquisitions, dispositions and development and redevelopment projects nationwide. She has particular experience representing convenience store operators and motor fuel distributors in property acquisitions and redevelopment transactions. Black has represented regional and national tenants throughout the United States, including office, big box, department store and restaurant uses. She has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family housing projects, and she assisted lenders and borrowers in negotiating commercial loan transactions.

Black earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Indiana University.
