Heather Carson Perkins Elected to Governing Committee of the ABA Forum on Franchising

Denver partner Heather Carson Perkins has been elected to the governing committee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Franchising. Perkins’ term will begin in August 2021.

Perkins is an active member of the ABA’s Forum on Franchising. She served as a member of the senior appointed leadership of the Governing Committee from 2016 to 2019 as editor-in-chief of Forum publication The Franchise Lawyer. In 2019, Perkins coauthored and copresented Annual Developments at the 42nd Annual Forum on Franchising, as well as several other programs over the years. She previously served as associate editor of The Franchise Law Journal.

The mission of ABA’s Forum on Franchising is to be the preeminent forum for the study and discussion of the legal aspects of franchising by providing high-quality educational programs and publications on the legal aspects of franchising. The organization’s goal is to stimulate discussion in order to educate the legal community and the franchising community on issues of current concern and to promote full and equal participation of minorities, women and other under-represented groups in Forum activities.
