Faegre Drinker Pro Bono Manager Jodie Boderman Honored with "John D. Levine Distinguished Service Award" from Volunteer Lawyers Network
Faegre Drinker is proud to announce that Minneapolis pro bono manager Jodie Boderman has been honored by the Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) with the “John D. Levine Distinguished Service Award.”
The award recognizes attorneys and other professionals who have contributed significant pro bono work over their legal careers and have served to further the mission of VLN through volunteer work or other significant contributions.
For over 25 years, Boderman has helped develop and manage pro bono initiatives for Faegre Drinker’s lawyers and paralegals to volunteer their unique professional skills, focused on addressing the unmet legal needs of disadvantaged and underserved persons. She liaises with numerous nonprofit public interest, charitable, community and legal services organizations in need of pro bono legal services for themselves and/or their clients. Boderman also evaluates pro bono requests for the firm, develops potential projects, recruits volunteers, organizes legal teams, and coordinates training and support. Her areas of experience include pro bono clinics, housing advocacy issues, second chances and the professionalization of pro bono.
Boderman is a well-recognized leader on pro bono and access to justice issues in Minnesota and across the country.
