Faegre Drinker Appoints Lindsay Gotwald as Chief Client Development & Marketing Officer

Faegre Drinker is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindsay Gotwald as its chief client development and marketing officer, responsible for leading the firm’s global client and brand strategy. She will also serve as a member of the firm’s operations leadership team.

Gotwald most recently served as the firm’s director of communications and has previously held senior roles across client development and marketing functions during her fifteen-year tenure with Faegre Drinker and its two predecessor firms.

“Lindsay is a talented and collaborative leader with tremendous experience overseeing high-performing teams and driving effective client relationship strategies,” said Faegre Drinker Co-Chairs Tom Froehle and Andrew Kassner in a joint statement. “She is a longtime trusted advisor to our partners and leadership team, and will bring energy, enthusiasm and vision to the role.”

During her career with the firm, Gotwald has been responsible for new business development, client growth and retention, global marketing strategies, strategic communications, firm wide campaigns, and data-management systems. She also advised on brand and communications strategies through two of the largest law firm combinations of the last decade – the 2012 combination that formed Faegre Baker Daniels and the 2020 combination that established Faegre Drinker.

Gotwald earned her bachelor’s degree in political science, magna cum laude, from DePauw University, serving as a media fellow in the communications honors program.
