Faegre Drinker Recognized by LCLD for Strong Commitment to Diversity Advancement in the Legal Profession With 2021 ‘Top Performer’ and ‘Compass Award’

Faegre Drinker is proud to be recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as one of only 60 firms to receive both the 2021 “Top Performer” and the 2021 “Compass Award” designations for its strong commitment to building a more diverse organization and a more inclusive legal profession. As a founding member of LCLD, Faegre Drinker is proud to receive these recognitions.

“Top Performers” are comprised of LCLD’s most active member corporations and law firms. The “Compass Award” recognizes members who personally attend LCLD’s annual meeting and participate in the organization’s Fellows and Pathfinder Programs, as well as at least one pipeline program, such as mentoring or 1L Scholars.

LCLD is one of the nation’s leading organizations promoting diversity and consists of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners — the leadership of the profession — who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.

Faegre Drinker holds itself accountable for progress on building a diverse workforce and relies on national benchmarking surveys, such as the LCLD’s “Top Performer” and “Compass Award,” among others. The firm has also been recognized in 2021 as a “Best Law Firm for Women” by Seramount (formerly Working Mother) and Flex-Time Lawyers and was named a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign. In addition, Faegre Drinker is proud to be recognized by Diversity Lab as a Mansfield Certified Plus firm — one of the “trailblazing law firms” that demonstrate meaningful progress in creating diverse leadership teams and developing diverse pipelines to leadership.
