Faegre Drinker Joins The Alliance for Asian American Justice

Faegre Drinker has joined The Alliance for Asian American Justice (The Alliance), a group of Fortune 1000 General Counsel and over 40 law firms working with The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF), Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAAJ) and other organizations on the front lines to create a national pro bono initiative to ensure that all violent anti-Asian actors are brought to justice.

Historically, low-income and under-represented Asian Americans have been further marginalized and have not been afforded the respect and attention that they deserve. These victims are often denied justice because of language and cultural barriers, among other inhibiting factors. Like many other minority communities, these individuals are in desperate need of advocates and real solutions.

Faegre Drinker remains committed to combating racism and intolerance and stands together with our colleagues of Asian American and Pacific Islander descent. The firm will participate in the pro bono efforts that The Alliance will coordinate on behalf of victims to assist and support them in obtaining legal remedies.
