Andy Norin Named General Counsel of the New Jersey Builders Association
The New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA), the leading trade association for the home building industry in New Jersey, appointed real estate partner Andy Norin as general counsel. He was approved and sworn in at an NJBA Board of Directors meeting. As general counsel, among other things, Andy provides guidance to NJBA on significant legislation affecting residential development in New Jersey.
At the NJBA, Norin has also served as a member of the Legislative Affairs Committee and Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL) Task Force. In 2017, he received the Committee Chair Award for his exemplary service and significant contributions to the Legislative Affairs Committee.
The NJBA and its members strive for a more vibrant, greener, and affordable housing market in New Jersey. NJBA also serves as a resource for members through continuing education and advocacy. Members include residential and commercial builders, developers, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, consultants and other professionals.
Norin has a comprehensive understanding of real estate development that helps clients efficiently and effectively pursue their real estate objectives. He earned his bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.
