Experienced Environmental Attorney Ted Wolff Joins Faegre Drinker in New York

Faegre Drinker announced today that Ted Wolff has joined the firm as a partner in the environment and energy practice group in the New York office. He comes to the firm from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP where he was a partner in the environment group.

For over 20 years, Wolff has counseled organizations on environmental issues in both disputes and transactional matters. He supports clients including retail, transportation, real estate, industrial goods, manufacturing, food service and healthcare companies, as well as government agencies.

Wolff’s environmental litigation experience includes representing clients in federal and state courts and advising clients on enforcement, creditor and debtor’s rights in bankruptcy, cost recovery, Superfund, and permitting-related matters.

Wolff counsels clients on compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws and rules, including those regulating hazardous substance and hazardous waste handling, transport, storage, treatment and disposal; asbestos handling, management and abatement; pesticide regulation; clean water and clean air matters; and employee and community disclosure.

Wolff also guides companies through the development and execution of environmental management systems and sustainability programs, and helps organizations create environmental training, emergency response and day-to-day compliance plans. He has more than two decades of experience in brownfield cleanup and redevelopment.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Colby College and his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
