• Sean Kennedy (Florham Park/Product Liability & Mass Tort/2015) was promoted to Senior Director, Healthcare Compliance Strategy & Operational Risk at Bristol Myers Squibb in August 2022.
• Nancy Cantalupo (Washington, D.C./Intellectual Property/2003) became a tenured Associate Professor of Law at Wayne State University Law School as of August 18, 2022.
• David Frey (Chicago/Intellectual Property/2007) joined Oshkosh Defense Corporation as Intellectual Property Manager in August 2022.
• Mike Burg (Philadelphia/Litigation/2006) joined Zillow in August 2022 as Senior Counsel, Data and Analytics.
• Mike McGawn (Denver/Corporate/2000) partially relocated with his family to the Minneapolis area while his daughter attends high school nearby. He continues to serve as Deputy General Counsel – Operations for Chipotle Mexican Grill in Newport Beach, California.
• Ryan Dunn (Minneapolis/Product Liability & Mass Torts/2011) joined Spertus Landes & Umhofer LLP as Counsel in August 2022.
• Siobhan Cullen (Los Angeles/Product Liability & Mass Torts/2001) joined Littler as Senior Counsel in August 2022.

• Alice Keane (Chicago/Environment & Energy/1994) was promoted to Associate Professor of Accounting at Governors State University in August 2022.
• Bruce Quinn MD, PHD (Los Angeles/Government & Regulatory Affairs/2015) continues to run a busy genomics consulting practice from his hometown in Los Angeles, California. He is speaking at three in-person conferences in the next month in Washington and New York. Bruce is also excited to share that one of his daughters just graduated college and the other is halfway through.

• The U.S. Senate confirmed Nina Wang (Denver/Intellectual Property/2004) to the United States District Court for the District of Colorado in July 2022. Justice Wang had served as a magistrate judge for the District Court since 2015.
• Kate Bruce (Minneapolis/Labor & Employment/2008) joined Chegg Inc. as Head of Litigation in July 2022.
• Kerri Boling McGee (Minneapolis/Product Liability & Mass Tort/2019) was promoted to Lead Senior Counsel, Food Law at The Kraft Heinz Company in July 2022.

• Kiri Somermeyer (Minneapolis/Product Liability & Mass Tort/2011) became the Executive Director of the University of Minnesota Law School’s Corporate Institute where she teaches the Business Law Clinic and oversees the Corporate Externship Program and Independent Field Placements affiliated with the law school’s experiential education program.
• Stacey Lantagne (Washington, D.C./Litigation/2005) joined Western New England University School of Law as a professor of law in July 2022.
• Brooke Ellinwood McDonough (Washington, D.C./Litigation/2004) became Associate Professor of Law (Fundamentals of Lawyering) and Acting Coordinator of Scholarly Writing at The George Washington University Law School in July 2022.
• Krissy Laubach (New York/Health Care/2009) joined Danone as Counsel, Contracts and M&A in July 2022.
• Lionel Weaver (Chicago/Insurance/2004) opened his own law firm, Weaver Legal LLC, in July 2022.
• Josh Franklin (Florham Park/Real Estate/2006) joined Fiserv as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in July 2022.
• Fred Mitsdarfer III (Wilmington/Real Estate/2015) joined Greenberg Traurig in July 2022.
• Matt DeLesDernier (Philadelphia/Investment Management/2008) was promoted to Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in July 2022.
• Faris Rashid (Minneapolis/Litigation/2014) was recently appointed by Chief Judge Patrick J. Schiltz to serve on the Merit Selection Panel to advise the U.S. District Court of the District of Minnesota on the selection of a new U.S. Magistrate Judge.
• Dennis Carlin (Chicago/Corporate/1982) is co-chairing the 50^th anniversary celebration of CJE SeniorLife which will take place on September 18 in Wheeling, IL. CJE Senior Life is a charitable organization that provides programs and housing for senior adults. Last year it provided services for 22,000 seniors. Dennis has been on the board for 26 years and served as Chair from 2008-09.
• Beth Stearns (Florham Park/1989) was recently elected to the Board of Directors Business Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association. She continues to serve as Chair of the Retail and Restaurant Committee, a position she has held for the past several years.
• Bill Callison (Denver/Real Estate/1996) joined Holland & Hart as an equity partner. He continues his affordable housing and community development practice and his expert witness work, primarily involving corporate governance, LLCs and partnerships.

• Alan Kidd (Philadelphia/Insurance/2012) was promoted to Senior Counsel, Commercial and Strategic Transactions at Armstrong World Industries in June 2022.
• Angie Snavely (Minneapolis/Corporate/2008) was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Minnesota for 2022 by Women We Admire in June 2022. Angela is currently Vice President, Chief Corporate and Governance Counsel & Assistant Secretary for Teradata Corporation. She also serves as Co-Chair of the company’s Citizenship Council. Women We Admire provides news and information on today's women leaders in business, entertainment, sports, motherhood, medicine, law and many other fields.
• Alan DiSciullo (Florham Park/Litigation/1977) was recently honored by New York University for teaching 30 years at the University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. He has been teaching Commercial Leasing and Real Estate law, among other courses, to master’s and undergraduate students as an adjunct professor.
• Ingrid Johnson (Princeton/Litigation/2016) joined Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC as Counsel in June 2022.
• Natalie Hanlon Leh (Denver/Intellectual Property/1993) was named one of Law Week Colorado’s 2022 Top Women based on her career of leadership and impactful work. Natalie currently serves as the Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of Colorado.
• Jill McCrory (Indianapolis/Government & Regulatory Affairs/2019) joined Viatris as Counsel, Advertising and Promotion in June 2022.
• Kyle Fogt (Minneapolis/Labor & Employment/2010) joined University of Iowa Health Care as Deputy Counsel in June 2022.

• Ginene Lewis (Philadelphia/Litigation/2013) was recognized by The 2022 Philadelphia Forty Under 40 - City & State Pennsylvania and was also featured in Modern Counsel in June 2022. Ginene is currently head of defensive litigation and legal spend management at the Vanguard Group.

• Jay Leach (Philadelphia/Litigation/1971), McGeorge School of Law Professor Emeritus, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in teaching advocacy during the 2022 Educating Advocacy Teachers Conference in June 2022. Each year the award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated a distinct commitment and dedication to improving teaching methodology, advancing the standard of excellence, and fundamentally changing advocacy teaching methodologies.

• January 1 marks the 29^th anniversary of Jim Dueholm’s (Minneapolis/Real Estate/1968) retirement from Faegre Drinker and 47 years since making partner. Most recently Jim has been keeping busy writing letters to the editor, articles on Abraham Lincoln and columns to his hometown, rural Wisconsin newspaper chronicling family, community, neighbors, rural schooling, threshing and other farming activities.
• Juliana Yanez (Silicon Valley/Litigation/2014) joined the Board of Directors at La Raza Centro Legal in May 2022.
• On Friday, May 22, the Minnesota State Bar Association Health Law Council presented Jay Christiansen (Minneapolis/Health Care/ 1977) with a Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the health law community over an extended period of time.
• Judith McCarthy (Florham Park/Corporate/2013) has been keeping busy practicing law with the Cheshire Law Group, specializing in corporate and governance work for non-profit, tax-exempt organizations, and as Trustee and Chair of the Governance Committee at Volunteer Lawyers for Justice in Newark, New Jersey and Trustee and Chair of the Post-Secondary Committee at the PEP Program in Summit, New Jersey. Judith is also a member of the Women Fighting Hunger Committee at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and volunteers for GRACE, a community food and support program in Summit.

• Lori Ann Wagner (Minneapolis/Litigation/1986) joined The Calli Institute as a mental health therapist and clinical counselor in May 2022.
• John Murray (Milwaukee/Labor & Employment/2004) joined The Crisis Prevention Unit in May 2022.
• Jacob Kraus (Minneapolis/Litigation/2005) was appointed Judge for the Second Judicial District in Minnesota in April 2022. He was previously a senior attorney in the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.
