Diane Marasiu Carter Receives Government Affairs Society of Indiana ‘Allen C. Steere Award’

Faegre Drinker Consulting senior director Diane Masariu Carter has been selected by the Government Affairs Society of Indiana (GASI) as the recipient of the Allen C. Steere Award.

Created in 1982 by Lincoln Financial Group, this award is presented by the GASI Board of Governors to members of the Society who conduct themselves in the highest manner at the Indiana Statehouse. Masariu Carter was nominated as an exceptional mentor and role model, personifying the standards of conduct contained in the Society’s Statement of Ethical Principles.

As part of Faegre Drinker’s government and regulatory team, Masariu Carter drives legislative advocacy solutions for clients with interests before the Indiana General Assembly. Before joining Faegre Drinker, Diane was a member of the Statehouse staff for 31 years.

During the annual GASI conference on October 11, 2023, Marasiu Carter was presented with the award and recognized for her time at the Statehouse and 17 years at the firm.
