Samantha Rollins Murphy Recognized as a 2023 ‘Up & Coming Attorney’ by Minnesota Lawyer

Labor and employment partner Samantha Rollins Murphy was named a 2023 “Up & Coming Attorney” by Minnesota Lawyer. This annual award recognizes attorneys who are in their first decade of practice and off to a fast start in their legal careers.

Rollins Murphy is a litigator who defends employers across the country with significant experience defending wage-and-hour claims, as well as claims for harassment, discrimination and retaliation. She is also a seasoned trial attorney, securing recent jury verdicts in California and Iowa.

In a feature profile, Rollins Murphy described her career, including as a summer associate at Faegre Drinker, where she worked on fun and substantive assignments from partners in the labor and employment group. “My background in manufacturing operations gave me experience with managing people, including labor issues,” she said. “It has turned out to be a good fit.”
