Amanda Semaan Recognized in The Recorder's 2023 California Legal Awards

Amanda Semaan has been selected as a 2023 California Legal Awards “Lawyers on the Fast Track” winner by The Recorder. The awards celebrate the achievements of attorneys under the age of 40 leading technology, innovation and the legal profession as a whole.

Semaan, an associate in the firm’s labor and employment practice, is a litigator with a wide range of experience helping corporate clients resolve complex disputes, primarily representing employers defending wage-and-hour, discrimination and other California employment law claims. In 2022, she was a member of the Faegre Drinker team representing Zimmer, Inc. in securing the reversal on appeal of a multimillion-dollar jury verdict in California.

In addition to her practice, Semaan dedicates significant time to pro bono work. She was named to Faegre Drinker’s Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2018-2022. She also received a Pro Bono Service Award in 2021 for her work with the Alliance for Children’s Rights and has also been involved in the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Domestic Violence Project, which works to provide access to the protections of the civil legal system by serving as a link between survivors of violence and the members of the Los Angeles legal community.
