Mike Stewart Named “Minnesota ICON” By Minnesota Lawyer

Finance and restructuring partner Mike Stewart was named a “Minnesota ICON” by the Minnesota Lawyer for his years of service to Minnesota’s legal community and Faegre Drinker. 

Stewart started at Faegre Drinker as a summer associate in 1979 prior to joining full-time the following year. A mere eight years later, Stewart was part of a legal team in a U.S. Supreme Court case still used as precedent today. H represents clients in all aspects of the finance industry, including lenders and investors, and is well-versed in corporate restructuring strategy. He has represented large financial institutions such as U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo and Cargill, and serves on the steering committee for the financial services industry team as well as co-leader of the agribusiness finance and bankruptcy segment of the firm’s food and agribusiness industry team.
