Brittney Yocum Named Indianapolis Business Journal 2025 ‘Forty Under 40’ Honoree

Indianapolis corporate partner Brittney Yocum was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) “Forty Under 40” class of 2025. This annual award honors local business and professional leaders who have achieved success and excelled in their field before the age of 40. Each year, the publication selects recipients who demonstrate leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers.

Yocum’s profile highlights her well-established mergers and acquisitions practice and her work with high-profile companies such as Cummins, Inc. and Hoosier Penn Oil in major industry deals.

The profile notes that her passion for M&A law only grew after she was placed in a corporate practice group as a summer associate. “While successfully closing a transaction is always rewarding, my greatest satisfaction comes from guiding clients through life-changing transactions, such as the sale of a founder-owned or multi-generational family business,” Yocum said.
