A U.K. and U.S. Guide to Preventing and Responding to Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
Overview
In light of the recent media attention on allegations of sexual harassment against celebrities, employers are increasingly facing complaints of harassment in the workplace or may fear learning of a long-hidden pattern of harassment and discrimination.
The U.K. and U.S. labor and employment team at Faegre Baker Daniels invites you to a free webinar reviewing best practices for addressing complaints of sexual harassment in the workplace and developing proactive strategies to prevent sexual harassment and minimize the potential risks of it occurring in the workplace.
This 60-minute informal and interactive session will discuss:
- Reviewing harassment and reporting policies
- Encouraging employee reporting
- Reporting process and investigation improvements
- Training supervisors and managers
- Enforcing and drafting confidentiality clauses and agreements
Bring your questions as we seek to address the pressing issues for employers arising out of the recent media explosion surrounding complaints of sexual harassment.
An application for standard Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be submitted in multiple states. The program will also be submitted to the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for continuing education credit review.
There is no fee to participate. However, you must register in advance. Have a scheduling conflict? Register for the live event, and we'll send you the on-demand recording shortly after the broadcast date.
