What Does the SECURE Act Mean for Your Retirement Plan?

Webinar

Overview

Faegre Drinker invites you to a webinar featuring attorneys from our national benefits & executive compensation group on Thursday, July 23, 2020, to learn more about the SECURE Act and what it means for benefit plan sponsors and the organizations that provide support to benefit plans. Our presentation will take a deep dive into the provisions of the SECURE Act that are already affecting retirement plan sponsors in 2020 and will highlight SECURE Act changes for retirement plan sponsors to consider as they plan for 2021 and beyond.

Topics will include the following:

  • Which types of plans are affected by the SECURE Act? Defined benefit, 401(k), 403(b) — the SECURE Act has something for everyone!
  • Mandatory versus optional changes. Which changes are you required to make to your plan, and when do you need to make them?
  • Will plan amendments be needed? Which SECURE Act provisions will require an amendment to your plan, and which relate primarily to plan administration?

Join us as we talk through these issues and more and discover what the SECURE Act means for your retirement plan.
